Hi Michelle, thanks for the note. It certainly is not getting better here. Wow! 40 acres in the mountains. Sounds like paradise. When do you start to build? My regards to John.
(PS: John and Michelle are clients that sold in Leesburg this past summer and moved to Colorado)
This is neat - thanks for the link. I looked at August's statistics for Leesburg. It doesn't seem to be getting any better... looks like it is getting worse. Thanks so much for helping us get out when we did! It wasn't fun - but it worked.
From Beautiful Divide, Colorado
(we had snow last Thursday and Friday) and the record high here is 86 degrees:) We close on 40 acres of mountain property tomorrow. I had to come back and check the market to see if we made a good move. Looks like we did!
I've been going through this data every month when it comes out, by County and City.
I noticed that for August that every location (so far) that I've checked has had a YOY decline in price. (Not surprising).
This time around Arlington County is very confusing, showing a 14% decline in median price. That's from all the condos, though. Single family house prices show little change according to the NVAR statistics.
