We're in luck on this superstitiously unlucky day. Last year, NASA determined that on Friday - April "the you know what" - 2029 an asteroid about a quarter mile wide will not collide with earth and devastate a region about the size of Texas! Great news. Your real estate holdings remain safe and you can continue to extract equity!I'll continue to watch for other Friday "the you know what" stories and report on them expeditiously if they may have an impact on real estate markets! Forever in your dutiful service.

Alby, I won't even be able to watch in 2029 (except, perhaps, from a non earthly perch).
HA HA! I love terms like extract equity, or liberate equity. Equity has been doin' a fine job of leaving all by itself over the past few months. I'm sure everyone is relieved a monster meteor isn't going to wipe out their town but that doesn't make it safe to take out more debt on a depreciating asset.

We aren't out of the woods yet with Apophis. During its approach in 2029, if Apophis hits whats called a "gravitational keyhole", then it will be on target to hit the earth in April of 2036. Don't throw out your food stockpile yet.
