Surprise! Surprise! Joe and Rudy made a special effort to stop by the Guide on their Blog Tour USA. Welcome to Northern Virginia. We had a great visit and I kept them here way longer than what they had planned, I'm sure. Interesting that they look the same as their pictures I see on the sellius blog. Rudy does appear to be much younger than Joe. I couldn't resist documenting the event with pictures (Rudy had a camcorder running the entire time and I probably said some things that will haunt me for at least a few days...). From left to right:
(1) After providing superior directions they still managed to find the WRONG place!
(2) Ah...Ha... I had to run out and point in the right direction.
(3) sellsius arrives (Joe is driving, who is navigation this land yacht?)
Left to right:
(1) Photo op; Merv, Joe, Pam and Rudy (kneeling). Joe is showing off bounty swiped from our cellar. And, I still didn't get my sellius hat. I did get a Trulia t-shirt though. I really wanted the hat.
(2) After a great visit, they are on their way to Charlotsville (via a Best Buy, so much video so far Rudy ran out of hard drive space).
(3) Backing up a land yacht is hard to do. Rudy is the pilot now..
It absolutely blows me away that they made this very special visit to Pam and I. Sellsius, you are the best! Next stop: Jim Duncan @ RealCentralVa. See you at the San Francisco Connect conference in a few weeks!
